XTERRA World Championship
Off-road Triathlon’s Biggest Day
Off-road Triathlon’s Biggest Day
The world’s premier off-road triathlon, combining a 1.5-kilometer (1-mile) rough water swim, a 30.4-kilometer (18.89-miles) mountain bike and a 9.5-kilometer (5.9 miles) trail run best described as a tropical roller-coaster ride through pineapple fields and forests.
The XTERRA World Championship race is the last in a series of nearly 100 off-road triathlon races held in 16 countries and 30+ U.S. States. The concept is to provide a bona-fide off-road world championship for amateur and pro athletes. For pros there is $105,000 in prize money at stake. Amateurs race for the title of XTERRA World Champion.

At-Large Entry and Waitlist
Each year in December a very limited number of at-large spots are available for the following year’s World Championship. These spots are open to everyone but due to the limited amount these spots are typically filled within the first 15 minutes of becoming available. A wait-list entry becomes available to those who were unable to claim an at-large entry. Wait-list members will be notified on a first-come, first-served basis in August should spots become available.
