XTERRA EXPERIENCE: Raced in selected XTERRA’s starting in 2000 through 2002 before concentrating on World Cup and Olympic racing. Returned to XTERRA last year.

RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Won 2002 USA Elite Triathlon National Championship, member of the 2003 national select team, placed third at ITU World Cup race in Tongyeong, South Korea.

2005: Placed 4th at Richmond, DNF’d in Keystone, and was the top American at the XTERRA USA Championship in Nevada where he finished fourth.

LAST YEAR: Finished 2nd at the first two races of the year in California & Alabama, was 7th in Richmond, did not race in Milwaukee, was 2nd in Utah, won the XTERRA United Kingdom Championship on Sept. 2., then won the XTERRA USA Champion, becoming the first American to ever win the race and the first American since Michael Tobin to win XTERRA U.S. Pro Points Series. Placed 3rd (top American) in his first-ever XTERRA World Championship race.
